What Pets Cost publishes what pet services actually cost at the big US chains — grooming, vet visits, wellness plans, boarding and training — so you can budget before you book.

How We Get Our Prices

• Official pages first. Every figure starts from the retailer's own service pages, store pages or press materials, and each article links to them.
• Dated, not timeless. Each price page shows when it was last checked. Chains change prices and packages without notice, so the date matters as much as the number.
• Starting prices are labelled as such. Most chains advertise "starts at" figures and quote the final price in the salon or clinic. We say which one you are looking at.
• User reports are marked. Where we mention prices reported by customers (for example on Reddit), we say so and never present them as official.
